Wells House Celebrates Renovations

On Friday May 12th, the public will have the rare the opportunity for a special tour of the Historic Wells House. A fundraiser is being hosted to celebrate the completion of the first phase of preservation project on the 107 year old home. The event – Wells House Revealed – will take participants through never before seen parts of the home, touring the home’s basement and three above ground floors, including an exclusive tour of the home’s famous turret.

Tickets for the event are $50 per person. The event will include wine, champagne, and catered hors d’oeuvres in addition to the tour. Participants will as be treated to an exhibit of photographs showcasing the past year’s work on the house. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 12th. Tours will be given through the event hours. Event participants may arrive at any time, join us for an early cocktail hour, or arrive after work. Proceeds from the fund raiser will go to preservation projects for the house, most notably repairs to the turret roof this summer.
