May is Preservation Month!

May 2, 2023 – May is Preservation Month and we’re celebrating by putting a spotlight on the people in our community who are doing the important work of saving our places and building our communities through preservation! This year’s theme is People Saving Places. Historic place-savers pour their time, energy, and resources into protecting place they care about, often without recognition.
To celebrate, we’re going to highlight a handful of community properties and the people that saved them on our social media accounts throughout the month of May. With the help of our friends at the City of Wenatchee‘s Historic Preservation Board, we’re going to share stories of some of our most beloved places.
For more information about the National Trust for Historic Preservation, visit their website at Information about the City of Wenatchee’s Historic Preservation Board and the City’s Register of Historic Properties can be found here.
