Beat the Heat at the Museum!
The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center and NCW Arts Alliance invites you to this collaborative workshop series featuring regional artists and educators.
Try your hand at a variety of creative mediums this summer, delving into the art of Japanese calligraphy, paper crafting, and painting. These courses are for ages 16+ and are great for all skill levels – beginners welcome!
On Saturday, August 10, from 1-3 PM, learn alongside the multi-talented Sunny Hemphill in this beginner-friendly class. Students will use an easy paint scraping technique and paint markers to create a colorful portrait of your pet. This will be a fun and relaxing project for beginners and more experienced artists alike!
This workshop costs $35 for members and $45 for non-members. Members of either WVMCC or NCW Arts Alliance are eligible for member pricing. Registration is required.
