SUMMARY:Fire Ecology Hike
DESCRIPTION:The museum is partnering with the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust to offer a free Fire Ecology Forest Hike with research landscape ecologist Dr. Paul Hessburg as guide . The hike\, a follow up to the recent Era of Megafires multimedia presentation\, will take place on the new bike trail at Squilchuck State Park. Hessburg’s walk-and-talk program will focus on the fascinating and integral role of fire in our forests. A Discover Pass is required for parking at Squilchuck. Space is limited.
