DESCRIPTION:Protests and riots have erupted across the country and around the world since George Floyd\, a black man\, died after a white police officer knelt on his neck during an arrest on May 25. Peaceful protests have taken place here in Wenatchee and throughout North Central Washington over the last three weeks. Join us and a panel of local community members on Juneteenth for a thoughtful\, inclusive\, and open-minded discussion about race. This event will be held on Friday\, June 19 at 11 AM on Zoom and from the Museum’s Facebook page on Facebook Live. Questions may be submitted in advance to info@wvmcc.org\, or live via Zoom Q&A\, Zoom Chat\, or FB Live.
