DESCRIPTION:Updated guidance from the Washington State Department of Health allows for the reopening of child and youth programming\, allowing our summer camp program to run\, following health guidelines including social distancing\, masks\, sanitization\, and limiting capacity. The health and wellness of our campers\, visitors\, members\, staff\, and community are our top priority. We are excited to offer summer camp for students entering the 2nd – 6th grades in the Fall of 2020. In this camp\, we’ll go undercover to reveal secrets of nature\, and test out the art of disguise that animals use in the wild. We’ll use our unlocked spy skills to gather critical Intel about the world around us and go on the case – seeking the truth in a weeklong mystery that unfolds with every new camp day. \nGrades 4-6: Ecology Explorations\nCalling all young ecologists to this summer camp! See the world through the eyes of a snake\, experiment with bird flight\, explore why and how fish float\, and find out about some of the weirdest wildest animal adaptations. \nAfternoon (12:30 – 3:30 PM)\nGrades 2-3: Urban Ecologists\nThe wilderness is a wonderful place to study ecology\, but did you know you can study the relationships between organisms and the environment right outside the museum? Learn about how we connect to and impact the world around us through hands-on observations and explorations. \nGrades 4-6: Our Wonderful World\nLeave no stone unturned as we explore things that make our world go ‘round. SUMMARY:Made in Wenatchee: D'Olivo Live Zoom Tasting Event
DESCRIPTION:Join us online for Made in Wenatchee: D’Olivo Live Zoom Tasting Event on July 23rd at 7 PM. Taste Ultra Premium Olive Oils and Authentic Aged Balsamic Vinegar combinations from D’Olivo in your own home and learn about oil and vinegar pairings directly from owner and entrepreneur Bruce Hosfeld. Bruce will walk us through the process of tasting and enjoying the subtle nuances and rich flavors. \nThree distinct olive oil and balsamic vinegar combinations will be featured throughout the evening including Tuscan Herb Olive Oil with Grapefruit Balsamic Vinegar\, Lemon Olive Oil with Strawberry Balsamic Vinegar\, and Basil Olive Oil with Peach Balsamic Vinegar.
