DESCRIPTION:A museum in quarantine. Closed. Unable to have guests for their annual Haunted Museum. Unable to bring in actors and monsters to creep and scare the hundreds of community members young and old who show up every year to get the pants scared off them. Unable to bring the revenue the Haunt fundraiser normally provides. Watch what happens when the staff gathers at the museum to think of a plan. \nThe Museum isn’t haunted this year… or is it? \nRegister for the virtual haunt and we will send you a link to our spin on this annual tradition. This event is by donation. DESCRIPTION:What do you know about The Legend of Propman? Not much – well get prepared! \nThis Halloween we have gathered several community leaders to retell the local legend of the B-24 that crashed near Mission Ridge. Propman is the lone survivor\, the tail gunner that roams Bomber Bowl with an airplane prop lodged in his body. \nRegister to hear Rufus Woods\, Frank Kuntz\, Linda Haglund\, Jerrilea Crawford\, Shiloh Burgess\, and Josh Jorgenson put their own spin on Wenatchee folklore. Don’t listen alone. \nThis is a by-donation event. SUMMARY:MakerSpace to-go: Leather Bound Journals
DESCRIPTION:Join us at home to make a hand-bound\, leather journal on Thursday\, October 22 at 6:00 PM. This journal is a great way to stay organized\, be creative or give as the perfect gift during the upcoming holiday season! This program will include all the materials you need to make one leather journal\, along with access to a pre-recorded instructional video and a live Q&A with instructors. Registrants will work with us to pick up boxes prior to October 22nd. The cost of each box is $20 members; $25 non-members and all proceeds support the Museum. (Keep reading to learn about our supply buyback program!) \n  \nREGISTER HERE \n  \nSupplies included with your registration are: \n\nLeather\nStrap\nPaper\nWaxed thread\nBone folder tool\nNeedles\nAwl\nThread clipper\nThimble ring\n\n  \nSupplies needed from home: \n\nScissors\nMeasuring Tape/ruler\nMarker/pencil\n\n  \nSupply pick-up and Live event \nSupplies are available for pick up at the Museum before the event.  We will work with each registrant individually to schedule a pick up. Once you pick up your kit\, you will receive the link to the instructional video. Feel free to begin the process on your own time and use the Zoom link to come to the live Q&A on Thursday\, October 22 at 6:00 PM with any questions that may have come up. \n  \nSupply Buyback Program \nDue to the unique nature of these virtual MakerSpace programs\, we are now offering a supply buyback program.  Should there be any supplies in your kits that you don’t think you will be using again you can contact the Museum and we will accept the item(s) back into the MakerSpace inventory and give you a $5 credit for your next MakerSpace to-go program!
