SUMMARY:Environmental Film & Speaker Series: Living with Wildfire

This event will be presented in a hybrid environment with limited in-person viewing in the Museum’s Community Space and a live webinar streaming option. \n“Living with Wildfire” is a North Forty Production\, hosted by Dr. Paul Hessburg and funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce. As unprecedented megafires\, fires over 100\,000 acres in size\, burn across the West\, “Living With Wildfire” is a “master class” from renowned fire ecologist\, Dr. Paul Hessburg and the storytellers at North Forty Productions\, outlining the actions needed to reduce the risk of severe and devastating wildfires impacting your community. \nLimited in-person capacity. \nREGISTER HERE \nAll in-person activities follow current state and local health and safety guidelines. If you have any questions please contact Guest Services at 509-888-6240. \nRegister in advance for this webinar. This series helps connect our community to the world around us\, raise awareness of issues impacting the environment upon which we all depend\, and identify actions our community can take to improve and sustain our world and our Valley. \nPlease consider supporting the Wenatchee Valley Museum by joining us as a member and donor. Your support makes possible the programs\, exhibits\, and preservation of our local history that is an essential part of our community. Learn more at: https://www.wenatcheevalleymuseum.org/donate/
