DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, November 10 at 7 PM for an evening with Randy Lewis and Bill Layman to mark the release of their new book “Sunset and Moonrise on the Great Chief- The Ruling Spirit of the Columbia.” Come hear the authors talk about the book which is their third book collaboration. In this publication\, Bill and Randy offer a glimpse into the life and times of adventurer artist James Everett Stuart. More importantly\, they speak to the essential message of the painting – that the lands of the Columbia River and its Indigenous peoples have been and always will be sacred. \nA book signing will follow the discussion. There will be a special price for books purchased at the event. \nThis event is free and open to the public. Please register in advance. \nREGISTER HERE \nThis event will also be streamed live on the museum’s facebook page. \nAll in-person events follow current state and local health and safety guidelines. We ask all attendees to respect the health and wellness of others. Masks and social distancing are required indoors when not eating or drinking.
