SUMMARY:Spring Break Camp: Marvelous Mammals
DESCRIPTION:Do you think mammals are marvelous?  Have you ever wanted to learn how to film\, edit\, and create your own YouTube videos?  In this camp\, 5th and 6th graders will learn about our local mammals and work in small teams to create media content.  Join us for a fun-filled week of mammal explorations\, media creation\, and more!  \nCost is $150 members and $175 nonmembers. Registration closes on Thursday\, March 31.  \nREGISTER HERE \nClasses are held Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM- 3:30 PM for students in 5th & 6th grades. Students will have lunch on-site; lunch is not provided.

DESCRIPTION:Join us along with our sponsor North Central Washington Audubon Society on Thursday\, April 7 PM for a virtual program with Paul Bannick featuring video\, sound\, stories from the field and several dozen new images from his award-winning and best-selling book: Owl: A Year in the Lives of North American Owls. Paul’s program will take us through the seasons of owl lives: courtship\, mating\, and nesting in spring; fledging and feeding of young in summer; dispersal and gaining independence in fall; and\, finally\, winter’s migrations and competitions for food.   \nPlease register to attend this event virtually. \nREGISTER HERE \nThis film is a part of the Wenatchee Valley Museum’s Environmental Film & Speaker Series.
