SUMMARY:Scabland Sojourn: Book Signing with Tim Connor
DESCRIPTION:Join us to meet author Tim Connor on Saturday\, July 23\, at 6 PM. In Beautiful Wounds writer and photographer Timothy Connor shares stunning images\, engaging field notes\, historical narrative\, and a touching\, personal sojourn. A national award-winning journalist with a passion for nature photography\, his writing unfolds the story as the camera illuminates the path. The photography captures the sweeping horizons\, braided wetlands\, and a surprisingly vibrant wilderness. HIs book is on sale at the museum gift shop. Registration is free for museum members and $15 for non-members.\n\n\nThe museum’s second floor rotating gallery currently features an exhibit presenting Connor’s new book\, Beautiful Wounds: A Search for Solace and Light in Washington’s Channeled Scablands. It displays a selection of photography which are featured in the book. Timothy’s journey follows the footsteps of J. Harlan Bretz who theorized correctly about the Missoula Floods over 100 years ago. The exhibit runs through August 6\, 2022. Photography featured in the exhibit is for sale.\n\nREGISTER HERE
