DESCRIPTION:Moses Coulee Tour/Waterville Plateau: Brent Cunderla will lead a tour of the Moses Coulee and the Waterville Plateau. Learn about the local geology and the things that make this area unique. \nTour-goers meet at the Wenatchee Valley Museum to board a tour bus that departs at 9 am and will return by 3:00 pm.  Please bring a lunch\, plenty of water\, and wear good walking shoes. \nThe cost for this tour is $55/member and $75/non-member. \nYou can register here.

SUMMARY:Drop-in DNA Sequence Bracelets
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday’s in October for this drop-in program to assemble a beaded bracelet representing microbe DNA. Learn how the base pairs of DNA partner in specific ways. Visitors will use beads to assemble DNA jewelry according to the genetic codes of different bacteria. \nThis free event is a drop-in program. Stop by the Museum between 10 AM and 3 PM to participate. \nUpcoming Zoo in You events and programs \nZoo in You: The Human Microbiome was produced and is toured by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. This exhibit was made possible by a Science Education Partnership Award\n(SEPA) from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
