SUMMARY:Escultura en Arcilla con Martha Flores | Clay Sculpting with Martha Flores
DESCRIPTION:Únete a la artista y educadora local Martha Flores\, M.F.A.\, en este taller práctico de modelado en arcilla de dos sesiones en el Museo Centro Cultural del Valle de Wenatchee. ¡Este es un taller en español\, pero quienes no hablan español son bienvenidos! \nEn la primera sesión\, los estudiantes aprenderán técnicas esenciales de modelado de arcilla y comenzarán a esculpir sus propias piezas originales. Martha horneará sus las esculturas en su propio estudio y las devolverá la semana siguiente. \nEn la segunda sesión\, los estudiantes pintarán o esmaltarán sus piezas. Después de la segunda hornada\, los estudiantes pueden recoger sus esculturas terminadas en el estudio de Martha cuando les resulte conveniente. \nMartes\, 23 de septiembre\, 6 p.m. a 8 p.m: Sesión de escultura\nMartes\, 30 de septiembre\, 6 p.m. a 8 p.m: Sesión de pintura y acabado. \nEstas clases cuestan $50 para cada miembro y $65 para cada no miembro. Es necesario inscribirse previamente debido al espacio limitado. \nSobre Martha Flores:\nMartha Flores es una artista residente en Wenatchee\, reconocida por sus esculturas y pinturas expresivas que exploran temas como la identidad\, la memoria y el sentido de pertenencia. Con una Maestría en Bellas Artes (M.F.A.) y años de experiencia docente\, Martha aporta calidez\, técnica y dedicación a sus talleres\, haciendo que el arte sea accesible y placentero para todos. \nEsta serie de clases está patrocinada por el Wenatchee Art Education Consortium. \nREGÍSTRATE AQUÍ \n\nJoin local artist and educator Martha Flores\, M.F.A. for a two-part\, hands-on clay modeling workshop at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. This is a Spanish-speaking workshop\, however non-Spanish-speakers are welcome! \nIn the first session\, students will learn essential clay modeling techniques and begin sculpting their own original piece. Martha will fire the sculptures at her own studio and return them the following week. \nIn the second session\, students will be painting or glazing their pieces.
