DESCRIPTION:47th Annual Regional High School Art Show\nThe Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center is proud to sponsor the 47th Annual Regional High School Art Show in cooperation with the North Central Educational Service District and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction each year. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our students’ creativity and talent\, District and Statewide. Student winners from the North Central District travel on to show and compete with students from across the state at the Capitol in Olympia. \nThe 47th Annual Regional High School Art Show opens Friday\, March 6th\, and closes Saturday\, April 11th.\n\nThis exhibit will be on display at our new\, temporary gallery space\, located at 30 South Mission Street\, Suite B\, Wenatchee\, WA. \n\n**The Gallery will open at 2:30 PM on March 27th to accommodate our Volunteer Appreciation Lunch.**\n\nDowntown Branch of the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center (Temporary Gallery)\nThursdays 12 PM to 4 PM\nFridays 12 PM to 4 PM\nSaturdays 10 AM to 4 PM\nFirst Fridays (March 6 and April 3) 4 to 8 PM

SUMMARY:Beauty of Bronze - for Adults!
DESCRIPTION:The kids get to do it – now the grownups can too! Last year\, over 550 5th graders participated in the annual “Beauty of Bronze” program\, educating elementary-age students on the art of sculpture and offering them the chance to make their own. The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center is thrilled to offer a chance for adults to experience the “Beauty of Bronze”! On Friday\, March 27th\, from 6:30-8:30 PM\, create your own bronze sculpture\, guided by professionals. \nYour ticket price of $90 includes a beverage of your choice (beer\, wine\, or soda)\, all of your art materials\, and provides sponsorship of one 5th-grade student. This two-hour class will be a relaxing opportunity to create art and learn a new technique. The piece you create is yours to keep (takes 6-8 weeks to return from the foundry).
