Dr. Servheen is one of the leading grizzly experts in the United States and one of the leading experts on bear conservation in the world. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, November 10 at 7 PM for an evening with Randy Lewis and Bill Layman to mark the release of their new book “Sunset and Moonrise on the Great Chief- The Ruling Spirit of the Columbia.” Come hear the authors talk about the book which is their third book collaboration. In this publication\, Bill and Randy offer a glimpse into the life and times of adventurer artist James Everett Stuart. More importantly\, they speak to the essential message of the painting – that the lands of the Columbia River and its Indigenous peoples have been and always will be sacred. \nA book signing will follow the discussion. There will be a special price for books purchased at the event. \nThis event is free and open to the public. Or how a player piano can play such beautiful music? Come explore automata at the Museum and see how people have built self-moving machines for hundreds of years!   \nIn this MakerSpace class\, you’ll learn the basics of automata and how the gears help these machines move!
