4th of July Film at Museum

July 4, 2015 @ 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM

As part of Wenatchee’s Fourth of July celebration, the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center will host two showings of the 2013 documentary “You Don’t Need Feet to Dance.” This inspirational film, suitable for all audiences, tells the story of West African musician Sidiki Conde who learned to dance despite losing his legs to polio as a child. Conde is one of the artists featured in the museum’s current exhibit “Extraordinary Ordinary People.” The film will be shown on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with admission by donation.
