STEAM-Powered Adventures Await!

At the museum, our camps bring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to life with an exciting focus on arts and engineering. From building robots to exploring time travel and whipping up culinary creations, our camps spark curiosity through imaginative themes and hands-on activities.

Each week is a new adventure, blending creativity, innovation, and discovery. Wherever our explorations take us, one thing’s for sure—your child will be at the center of the fun! Join us this summer for unforgettable STEAM-powered experiences!

For Ages 6-10

The Great No-Bake-Off: No-Bake Cooking Camp

Monday, July 13 through Thursday, July 16, 9 AM to 3 PM 

Get read to mix, mash, and munch your way through a week of culinary creativity! Campers will experiment with all kinds of snacks and treats, building their own edible masterpieces while exploring new flavors and combinations. This camp is perfect for adventurous eaters who love to try new things. A variety of ingredients may be used throughout the week, so if you child has food allergies, please reach out to us before registering to discuss any questions.

History Hunters: Ancient Cultures 

Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 23, 9 AM to 3 PM

Step back in time and become a History Hunter! Campers will explore fascinating ancient civilizations, uncover hidden treasures, and dive into the stories, inventions, and mysteries of the past. Through hands-on activities, creative challenges, and immersive adventures, kids will bring history to life while discovering how people lived, worked, and imagined the world long ago. This is a week of curiosity, discovery, and fun that will make history feel like a grand adventure!

Science Lab Explorers 

Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30, 9 AM to 3 PM

Put on your lab coat and get ready for a week of hands-on discovery! Campers will dive into experiments, investigate mind-boggling science phenomena, and explore the wonders of the natural world. From curious concoctions to fascinating findings, every day is filled with surprises, challenges, and fun ways to think like a scientist. This camp is perfect for young explorers ready to ask questions, test ideas, and uncover the amazing science all around us!

Survivor-ish Challenge Week 

Monday, August 3 through Thursday, August 6, 9 AM to 3 PM

Get ready to test your teamwork and adventure skills in Survivor-ish Challenge Week! Campers will tackle fun challenges, navigate exciting obstacles, and work together to solve puzzles–all designed to help the whole team succeed. This is a week of problem-solving, creative thinking, and cooperative fun where everyone’s contribution matters. Whether climbing, building, or strategizing, campers will learn how to outwit challenges through collaboration, friendship, and plenty of laughs!

For Ages 10-11

Monday, July 27 through Thursday, July 30, 9 AM to 3 PM

Unlock the mysteries of robotics in this introductory class series! Young engineers will think outside of the box as they program and build their very own robots. Campers will learn how to code, solve complex challenges as a team, flex their problem-solving skills, all while fostering a love for science and technology.

Monday, August 6 through Thursday, August 6, 9 AM to 3 PM

Ready to take robotics to the next level? This week is designed for those eager to tackle cutting-edge challenges, explore advanced robotics concepts, and bring their creative visions to life. Campers will push their skills to the limit while building complex robots that can navigate, solve problems, and even compete in exciting tasks. Campers must have taken either the Introduction to Robotics Camp OR attended a full season of robotics after-school programs at the museum or your own school.

  • How strict is the age limit? 
Camp is about being around developmental peers vs strictly academics so we are strict with our age ranges.
  • What if my child has a nut or other severe allergy?
Nut and food allergy disclaimer: Please be aware that we are a public building and cannot assure the absence of nuts and other allergens during camp. This facility may have nuts and other allergens present at any given time.
  • Do I need to send a lunch?
Yes, please send plenty of snacks, lunch, and a water bottle. We play hard and get hungry and thirsty very fast!
