Paul Klee, a Swiss German artist, known for his important contribution to modern art in the form of his lectures on color theory. He was a printmaker and draftsman but his paintings, which are at times fantastic, childlike, or witty, display his unique style that is influenced by expressionism, cubism, and surrealism. Join us for a free art class on Saturday, October 20 to learn how to draw using a Continuous Line like Paul Klee. Children (4 to 11) and their guardians are encouraged to attend our monthly art lessons with Artist in Residence, Rick Adams. These free classes will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Coyote’s Corner. Classes are sponsored by the Washington Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
