Join us every Saturday and Sunday through Labor Day for a free all-ages, drop-in, staff-led craft or activity! We will have supplies out for a different activity each weekend for guests to express their inner artist or engineer. These activities will be available for all but younger guests may need assistance from their grownups depending on the activity. Activities will be available as supplies last and admission to the Museum is not required to participate in the activity.
On August 5-6, create a vibrating and moving Junkbot using everyday “junk” or items in your recycle bin. These tiny robots are powered by a vibrating motor, like the type found in cell phones. Design your own using scrap materials and spare parts. Previous experience with robots is not required! Materials will be provided.
