Join us virtually to learn how to make your own Batik Wall Hanging! With this MakerSpace to-go kit, you will learn how to use wax as a resist as you dye fabric to create a beautiful batik design. Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth. This is a fun technique to learn based on the Indonesian tradition.
Cost is $30 members, $40 non-members. Kits include the materials to create one batik wall hanging, along with step-by-step video instructions.
