Super Summer Adventure Camps: Session 6

Join us for a week of Science at our Super Summer Adventure Camps. We offer weekly enrichment classes for kids with a wide variety of morning, afternoon, and all day classes for students entering K-6 grades in the Fall of 2020 and PreK children ages 3-5 (must be potty trained).

Morning (9 AM – 12 PM)

Grades 2-3: Slime After Slime

Stretchy, gooey, sticky, crunchy, colorful, irresistible SLIME! The craze of slime continues to grow as new and unique slime recipes are discovered. Campers will make different types of slimes using a variety of materials. Enjoy making fluffy cloud slime, candle wax slime and even some slimes that you can eat!

Grades 4-6: Slippery Slimy Experiments

Whip up different types of slime and learn about Newtonian Physics in this ooey, gooey week of chemical reactions.  Put your slime to the test with various experiments and create Elephant Toothpaste, Oobleck, and Flubber.

Afternoon (12:30 – 3:30 PM)

Grades 2-3: Wild about Science

Come explore the sciences with us as we discover crazy chemistry, experiment with engineering and have fun with Physics! Your child will be Wild about Science after a week of bubbling potions, designing bridges and Newton’s laws of motion.

Grades 4-6: Kitchen Chemistry

If you love experimenting in the kitchen then join us for Kitchen Chemistry Camp! This camp provides the perfect recipe for fun by combining food and science experimentation. Learn the secrets of soda-pop; make whipped cream; discover the science behind popcorn; and experiment with many other kitchen concoctions! Put on your chef’s hat, and step into our kitchen to see what’s cookin’!

Tips & Tricks for Online Registration

• Use the “next page” buttons at the bottom of the screen to navigate through registration options. “Events by Date” results in an error message.
• Add one item to your cart at a time.
• After adding your first item and completing registration forms for your first camp, you will be able to autofill your information into future forms from a drop-down menu on the left once the item is added to your cart.
• If registering multiple children for the same camp, you will need to complete a registration form for each child.
• If your browser is slow or having a hard time loading, try using Internet Explorer.
• Participants registering for more than one class, or families registering more than one participant, a 10% discount will be given for each additional registration. Use discount code SSA10 at checkout to receive this discount!
