Science Fest 2019

Join us for Science Fest 2019

The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center will hold our annual science fair from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 18. The event includes hands-on activities and demonstrations exploring outer space, our solar system, and the earth.

Visitors of all ages will get to experience science with our partners at the Wenatchee Valley College Department of Anthropology, Wenatchee Valley Erratics, Douglas County Transportation and Land Services, and North Central Washington Regional Library.

The Museum will also feature hands-on activities that explore the earth and sky. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about the solar system through participation in mapping, learning about weather elements, and examining light and space. Other activities include making a light-up greeting card using conductive thread, and watching a LEGO Robotic’s demonstration by the Museum’s First LEGO League robotics teams.
