Census Q&A Session

September 16, 2020 @ 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Census Q&A Session

What is the 2020 Census, why is it important, and how do I respond?

School lunches. Plans for highways. Support for firefighters and families in need. Census results affect our community every day. The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into our community for the next decade. Join us on September 16 at 7 PM to learn from local leaders about the census effort. Learn how you can get involved to help make a difference in our community.

This event will be hosted on Zoom and from the Wenatchee Valley Museum’s Facebook page. Questions may be submitted in advance to [email protected], or live via Zoom Q&A, Zoom Chat, or FB Live. Live Spanish translation will be provided by Clarius Languages on Zoom. To access this feature, participants need to log in with the Zoom login and select Spanish audio channel under the world icon.

Panelists:

  • Brooklyn Holton, City of Wenatchee Housing & Community Planner
  • Lisa McClean, 2020 Census Coordinator, State of Washington
  • NCW 2020 Census Coordinators
