Join us on Saturday, March 19 for a Drop-in MakerSpace program on Junk Bots between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Create a vibrating and moving junkbot using everyday “junk” or items in your recycle bin. These tiny robots are powered by a vibrating motor, like the type found in cell phones. Design your own using scrap materials and spare parts. No previous experience with robots is required! Cost is $5/person. This program fee includes one vibrating motor kit and materials for one junkbot, as well as circuitry instruction. Pre-registration is recomended but not required – drop by the Museum during the program times to participate.
