Join us in this MakerSpace workshop on hand-bound, leather journals Saturday, January 8 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This journal is a great way to stay organized, be creative or give as a gift! In this program, you will learn how to stitch together paper signatures using a thread and needle. Prior hand sewing knowledge is helpful, but not necessary! You can choose to decorate your unique journal with pockets, leather stamps, or beads.
Each registered participant will be able to make one leather journal. We will be using needles, hot glue and sharp edges. Certain steps are tedious, repetitive and detail oriented. The recommended minimum age for this program is 10 years old. Cost is $20 for museum members and $25 for non-members. Please register to reserve your spot.
