Facebook has made some big changes to the way business pages reach their audiences recently. They changed the algorithm so posts reach fewer users organically.
Headline version: they want to make organizations pay to reach Facebook users, even if those users have already “liked” that page.
As you probably understand, a non-profit organization like the Wenatchee Museum & Cultural Center doesn’t have a ton of money laying around to boost Facebook posts. So we’d like to encourage you to opt in to receive our information whether we pay Facebook or not.
It’s very easy. All you have to do is go to our Facebook page here and hover over the “Like” button.
Once you hover over the like button, a dropdown menu will appear. Just click the “get notifications” tab and you should see any and all Facebook notifications the museum posts.
