Driving/Walking Directions
Mission Street is a one-way (northbound) street running parallel to Wenatchee Avenue and just one block west of “the Ave”. The next street to the west is Chelan Avenue; it is one-way southbound. The Museum is located on the northwest corner of Yakima and Mission streets.
Free parking is available on Mission Street in front of the Museum. A large City of Wenatchee parking lot is one block south of the Museum at the corner of Mission and Kittitas Streets (free).

What resources do you have for teachers and classrooms?

The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center is a treasured resource for teachers and students in our region. During the school year, many school groups schedule museum visits to explore our exhibits and participate in special hands-on programs such as Youth on the Columbia and Beauty of Bronze. Teachers also use our Museum-to-You boxes and borrow from our extensive library of science, environmental, historical and cultural films to enhance classroom instruction.

Can I make a donation?

Historical items, art and cultural material may be accepted as a donation if it is in good condition and helps tell the story of the Wenatchee Valley. A committee reviews potential donations on a monthly basis. To offer an item to the museum, submit your contact information, any details about the item and an image (digital or photo) to the museum via email, by mail or in person. PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF THE ORIGINAL ITEM TO THE MUSEUM UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS.

How do I make a research/photo request?

Research Requests and requests for copies of photographs from our collections are handled on a first come, first serve basis. Members of the museum receive priority for requests. A charge may be assessed for research or use of photos.

How can I get involved and volunteer at the museum?

Volunteers are an important support system for the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center and serve in many capacities. From one time special projects to on-going involvement, volunteer help the museum deliver essential services to the community. What is your refund policy?


Super Summer and Spring Break Adventures Refund Policy:
We will refund 75% of the cost of the class up to two weeks before the class start. You may also choose transfer to another class provided there is space available in that class. No refunds or transfers will be given within 2 weeks of the class start date.
Event, program, or tour Refund Policy:
All event ticket sales are final and are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket for credit to another tour, event/program, class or as a donation.
Refund/Return Policy Museum Gift shop:
We have a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. Return the item in its original, unused condition (including all original packaging and tags) within 30 days for a full refund.
