The National Apple show was held from 1908 to 1918 in Spokane, WA where Wenatchee and Yakima Valleys were awarded best apples.The Wenatchee Valley swept the first National Apple Show in 1908 taking all the grand prizes not just in the state but over all the apple producing states in the U.S.

A loving cup is a large ornamental vessel that is commonly used as a presentation trophy or as a shared drinking container at ceremonial events such as weddings.
