The DIY Robot Hand is a simple engineering and art activity that will give you and your kids the opportunity to dabble in the world of robotics! Join MakerSpace Coordinator Clayton to learn how to mechanize a simple cutout hand using just three items you have around the house: straws, cardboard, and string. This STEAM activity makes exploring robotics, engineering, and creative thinking fun and approachable for learners of all ages.

Supplies:
Standard drinking straws
Cardboard (or thick paper)Scissors
Pencil
Yarn or String
