Social Justice Series: Community Forum on Race
Protests and riots have erupted across the country and around the world since George Floyd, a black man, died on May 25, 2020, in police custody, while a white officer knelt on his neck. Peaceful protests have taken place in Wenatchee, throughout North Central Washington, and around the world following this event. A panel of local community members joined us on Juneteenth for a thoughtful, inclusive, and open-minded discussion about race. Thank you to all the panelists and participants who joined us on Zoom and on Facebook Live. A full Spanish translation of this session will be available soon.
