Wenatchee, Wash. – (Feb. 23, 2024) The 45th Annual Regional High School Art Show will open on First Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. Visitors will be able to view artwork from students in Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan Counties and have an opportunity to vote on their favorite for the People’s Choice Awards. Guests will also be able to see sculpture pieces from the 20th Annual Beauty of Bronze.

Don Collins, Guest Curator of Exhibits, says, “The next generation of artists has arrived! These two exhibits, The Regional High School Art Show and Beauty of Bronze, celebrate young artists throughout NCW, their diverse ideas, skills and creative journey.”

Winners will be recognized in 6 categories: Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Photography, 3-D, and Digital Media. The judges selected 15 Best of Show works to move on to the Annual Superintendent’s High School Art Show held virtually in Olympia on May 28th. There will also be three People’s Choice Awards presented at the end of the exhibit.

A reception and awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 16 from 1-3 PM. In addition to the award categories, Central Washington University will award scholarships.
