Volunteer Recognition Dinner at the Museum – 11/21/2024
Wenatchee, Wash. – (November 20, 2024), The Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center recently had the honor to celebrate museum volunteers, who devoted their time to support the Museum’s mission throughout the year.
Museum volunteers are an essential component to the success of museum programs, events, and community outreach. Throughout the year, volunteers performed duties at the front desk, exhibits, archives and collections, children/family programs, special events & programs, or at the Wells House.
On Friday, November 8, at 4 PM, the volunteer dinner included a taco and salsa bar from Plaza Wenatchee, along with a variety of pasta dishes from Garlini’s Napoletana. Throughout the night, local musician Elaine Eagle performed beautiful ballads on our piano, Thomas Kozina played the Star Wars soundtrack on our 1919 Wurlitzer pipe organ, before concluding the night with an award ceremony.
