Environmental Film and Speaker Series Presents: Elder Speak

October 12, 2023 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Free – $5

The Ripple Foundation presents Elder Speak: Journey to Wisdom

Elder Speak is a guided journey that honors, affirms, and brings forth the essential untapped wisdom of our Elders. As this latent wisdom is brought forward, it not only benefits the elder but also their families and the entire community. These heartfelt reflections that these Elders offer connect us to our shared human experience.

Through Elder Speak, we gain insight into how to navigate tough times, how to cherish the easy times, and how to hold gratitude for it all. Our Elders, by exploring their own lives and sharing their life experiences with us, honor us with their wisdom, challenge us to explore our own wisdom, and honor our own lives.

Attendees have two showtimes to choose from. The first screening will be at the Snowy Owl Theater in Leavenworth on Sep. 10, from 2-4 PM. The second screening will be at the museum on Oct. 12, between 7-9 PM.

Admission is free for members and $5 for non-members. Registration can be found here.

The Ripple Foundation is sponsored by Dan’s Food Market, the Wenatchee Valley Dispute Resolution Center, Wenatchee Valley Tech, Eagle Creek Winery, Cashmere Valley Bank, and the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts.

The Environmental Film and Speaker Series is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Chelan and Greater Wenatchee Valley.
