Space Camp!

Space Camp!

Come look up, explore the Sun, the Moon and the Stars, and be inspired by the wonder of it all at our My Sky Space Camp! In our new My Sky exhibit you can get your hands on an enormous 5-foot wide model of the Moon. Explore close-up images of what the Sun looked like on your birthday last year. Invent your own new constellations. Meet scientists, artists, and other people who are inspired by the sky above us. Get to know your sky like never before and join us on Friday, October 11th for a day of space exploration!

Pre-K: Our Place in Space Learn about our place in space and why our planet is unique.  Through hands-on activities, stories, and songs, students will learn about planet earth and the other planets in our solar system. PLEASE NOTE: This session is different from the others.  Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cost: $20 for Museum members, $25 for non-members. Students must be potty trained! Register now.

K & 1st Grade: Earth, Moon & Sun Learn about the relationship between the earth, moon, and sun, as well as how they were formed, through hands-on activities and projects. Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost: $30 for Museum members, $35 non-members. Register now.

2nd & 3rd Grade: Journey to the Moon Learn about the space race and how we made it to the moon. Hands-on activities will include building lunar landing modules and experiments. Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost: $30 for Museum members, $35 non-members. Register now.

4th – 6th Grade: To Infinity & Beyond! Learn about the principles of flight and how rockets work through hands-on activities and experiments. Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost: $30 for Museum members, $35 non-members. Register now.
