Uncover the Early 20th Century Life of the Wenatchee Valley in this free history presentation
Join the Battermann family as they share stories of their lives growing up in the Wenatchee Valley on Thursday, June 4, from 6-8 PM.
When George Battermann Sr. came to the Valley in 1904, life wasn’t easy, but he persisted and helped grow the Valley into what it is today. Batterman’s son and grandson, who were both born and raised in the valley, will recall stories from the old days, from racing down to meet the steamships on the Columbia River, to excavating the road to Entiat, and asking W.T. Clark for help with acquiring land.
This presentation is free and open to the community. Beverages are available for purchase, with complimentary refreshments provided. Pre-registration is required.
