My Sky Exhibit Members Only Opening

Join us for the First Friday Public Opening of the My Sky exhibit. All ages are encouraged to come experience the fun of hands-on science. Wells House First Friday Open House

Wells House First Friday

Come take a look inside the beautifully restored historic Wells House. Tours will be given on the first and second floors with insider information including history about the house and the original owners, fun facts about its college days, and interesting details uncovered in the renovation. Light refreshments will be served. The Wells House is located off of 9th Street at the end of Nelson on the Wenatchee Valley College campus.

Lake Wenatchee Geology Tour

This geologic tour in the Leavenworth area heads up the Wenatchee River Valley to Lake Wenatchee. We’ll look at everything from Chumstick sandstone to the glacial features from the Icicle Creek and Lake Wenatchee Glaciers. We’ll see the Leavenworth fault, identify glacial moraines, discuss how streams change with time, and examine 90 million year old igneous rocks and even older metamorphic rocks! Get Lit! Canvas Constellations

On October 9th, from 6:30-9:00 PM, the Wenatchee Valley Museum's MakerSpace is hosting another class in the Get Lit series: Canvas Constellations! This project is inspired by the night sky! Participants will choose a constellation to feature on their canvas then paint, wire, and light their constellation to create a masterpiece worthy of displaying in their home, office, or wherever they should choose! Coyote’s Corner Drop-In Art Class
