This Seattle-area trio will perform songs in the Nueva Canción (new song) tradition, based on the rural folk music of Chile. This gala luncheon is a fundraiser for the historic Wells House on the Wenatchee Valley College campus, an affiliate of the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. It includes tours of the building, a vintage hat display, and a raffle. Guests are encouraged to wear their best hats! Tickets are available at the museum.

Danish-American folklorist Jens Lund’s presentation, “I Done What I Could,” brings to life the joys and dangers of traditional Pacific Northwest occupations such as logging, mining and fishing.
