Want to explore our region's history alongside treasured local historians? Check out our upcoming Adventure & History tours!This year, we are offering caravan-style tours, specially designed to give visitors an opportunity to explore the rich history, geology, and cultural heritage of North Central Washington. These tours provide an accessible and flexible way for attendees to explore significant sites from both the eastern and western sides of the state.On Saturday, May 24, meeting at the Chelan Boat Dock on 7:45 AM, embark on a journey to the small village of Stehekin alongside local Native storyteller Randy Lewis. Throughout the tour, guests will uncover hidden treasures, indulge in treats from the famed Stehekin Pastry Company, and absorb fascinating insights into the region’s cultural heritage.On Saturday, May 31, at 9 AM, join us for a guided caravan tour of the Wellington Train Disaster Site, where patrons will personally commute to the Nason Creek rest area.
