David Hockney, an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer is known as an important contributor to the pop art movement of the 1960s. Join us for a free art class on Saturday, November 10 to learn how to create a photo collage like his work in the 1980s, compiling a ‘complete’ picture from a series of individually photographed details. Children (4 to 11) and their guardians are encouraged to attend our monthly art lessons with Artist in Residence, Rick Adams. These free classes will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Coyote’s Corner. Classes are sponsored by the Washington Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
