Environmental Film & Speaker Series: Living with Wildfire

September 2 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Living with Wildfire

Join us for a presentation of “Living with Wildfire”, a part of the Environmental Film & Speaker Series, on Thurday, September 2 at 7 PM. This event will be presented in a hybrid environment with limited in-person viewing in the Museum’s Community Space and a live webinar streaming option.

“Living with Wildfire” is a North Forty Production, hosted by Dr. Paul Hessburg and funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce. As unprecedented megafires, fires over 100,000 acres in size, burn across the West, “Living With Wildfire” is a “master class” from renowned fire ecologist, Dr. Paul Hessburg and the storytellers at North Forty Productions, outlining the actions needed to reduce the risk of severe and devastating wildfires impacting your community.

Limited in-person capacity.
